Cabarrus College of Health Sciences continues to expand its academic programming, creating more health career opportunities for local students and educating the professionals needed to meet critical healthcare needs in the community.

Community Health and Wellness: a four-year Bachelor of Science degree that prepares students for a wide variety of careers promoting healthy lifestyles, improving access to healthcare or helping those dealing with issues like substance abuse, teen pregnancy or chronic disease.
Health Sciences Leadership and Development: a unique bachelor’s degree completion program enabling professionals with an associate degree in any healthcare field to earn a bachelor’s degree in two years.
The programs introduced over the past year are just the start, with more in the pipeline. “We are keenly attuned to healthcare and employer needs in our community, and we’re designing programs to meet not only those needs, but the needs of different types of students,” said Cabarrus College President, Cam Cruickshank, PhD. “So, whether you’re a recent high school graduate, a working health professional who wants to move up in your field, or a career changer looking to enter the healthcare arena, we have a program for you that will lead to a rewarding and prosperous career.”
