Kannapolis City Schools will be hosting two wonderful events on Wednesday, May 23.
From noon to 1 p.m., the Workforce Development Board and local partners will host a Workforce Signing Day in the Kannapolis City Schools Central Office Board Room, 100 Denver St. This will be an opportunity for high school seniors to sign letters-of-intent to join the workforce after graduation.
From 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., A. L. Brown High School will host a College Signing Day in the Kannapolis Performing Arts Center (KPAC). This will be an opportunity to recognize those graduating seniors who plan to attend college, university, community college, other education or training program or to join the military after graduation this June.
These events will showcase seniors who are committing to their future. Displays sharing student biographies will be placed throughout the KPAC for viewing. During the events, students will be brought center stage to officially sign for their future commitment. Students and attendees are encouraged to wear gear from the college they are going to attend, attended, or support.
