The Watts family celebrated their latest milestone for SolarShine Express Car Wash with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of their third location. Founded in June 2019, the family-owned business has quickly expanded, establishing a strong presence in the express car wash industry across the region.
For the Watts family—Andy and Beverly Watts, Jason and Ashley Bannister, and Bryan and Elisabeth Watts—starting SolarShine Express Car Wash was about more than just a business venture. They envisioned creating a legacy that the whole family could be involved in, drawing on their collective backgrounds in commercial construction, real estate, development, and retail management.
The journey began with their first site in Monroe in June 2019, which earned the Rising Star award from the Union County Chamber of Commerce. Building on that success, they launched their second location in Charlotte in February 2021. Now, with the opening of their Concord site on July 1, 2024, the Watts family is excited to bring their signature service and commitment to the Concord community.
At SolarShine Express Car Wash, the focus is on delivering high-quality service in an efficient, express environment. Their express car wash offers a thorough and detailed wash, ensuring each vehicle leaves looking its best. Every car wash purchase includes access to free vacuums, allowing customers to take care of the inside of their vehicles just as easily as the outside.
