The Chamber was thrilled to celebrate the opening of the first Ryan’s Place group home in Kannapolis. This new facility will provide Innovations Waiver and Long-Term Community Support (LTCS) services, supporting highly adaptive skilled males aged 18 and over in the local community.
Founded in 2021 by Luis Hernandez, Ryan’s Place LLC was born out of a personal and meaningful relationship with Ryan Lanford, whom Hernandez supported for six years. The bond they shared was transformative for both, inspiring Hernandez to honor Ryan’s memory by founding Ryan’s Place. The agency operates with a mission to provide compassionate, ethical, and person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), ensuring that no one is marginalized due to a lack of resources or inadequate clinical care.
Ryan’s Place is dedicated to serving local North Carolina communities by offering high-quality, ethical I/DD services. The agency strives to empower individuals, helping them lead fulfilling lives while fostering a culture of kindness and inclusivity. By offering a safe and supportive living environment, A Clear Path Group Home embodies the agency’s philosophy of making every day EPIC—Empowered, Valued, Inspired, and Compassionate.
As a member of the local Chamber, Ryan’s Place LLC is committed to being a valuable asset to the community. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is not only a celebration of the group home’s opening but also a testament to the organization’s dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
