Congratulations to Restored Hope Therapy Services for their new clinic space in Mount Pleasant!
Established in January 2022, originally in the Town Hall building, Restored Hope Therapy Services has moved into additional space as their business continues to grow.
Restored Hope Therapy Services has a vision of integrating independent lifestyles within the community while utilizing a holistic approach to their services. They offer pediatric occupational therapy and speech therapy services. They plan to add physical therapy services in the future.
Founder, Jeannie Burgess, has 19 years of experience in Occupational Therapy. She is also an adjunct instructor at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) with their Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. She also sits on the advisory committee board for the OTA program at RCCC.
When it came to launching her business, Jeannie states that she saw the need for additional services in our pediatric community. Restored Hope Therapy Services strives to network with other providers to offer resources to families to pair with therapy. They truly assess and look at the whole child and family unit.
Restored Hope Therapy Services was the winner of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association Award for Outstanding Service: Community Service. With Jeannie being an adjunct instructor for RCCC's OTA program, Restored Hope Therapy Services is able to provide various opportunities for students to shadow or complete internships. Jeannie also speaks annually to the health classes at Central Cabarrus High School on the value of the OT profession. Restored Hope Therapy Services was nominated for The Chamber's New Business of the Year Award.
