Members of The Chamber recently visited the new Prime Express convenience store in Kannapolis to help celebrate their grand opening with a ribbon cutting!
Opened by Shailesh and Deep Panara in October 2023, Prime Express is a family-owned and operated gas station chain in the Charlotte, Concord and Kannapolis area. Shailesh and Deep have more than 30 years of experience operating convenience stores and gas stations before opening their Prime Express stores. They were motivated to open this store because they want to keep expanding in the local area and continue serving the community.
During the construction of Prime Express, the owners say there were many hurdles to jump through to open their business. With the help of City of Kannapolis staff, they were able to navigate through them quickly and make it to the finish line.
Prime Express focuses on customer service and providing all necessities to their customers for their convenience. The store is also a gas station and offers fast food.
