Panda Express recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Kannapolis with a Chamber ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was a celebration of support that brought together community members and local leaders to officially welcome Panda Express to the neighborhood.
With the grand opening on August 27, 2024, this new location is the latest chapter in the Panda Express story. Founded by Andrew and Peggy Cherng, the family-owned business has been serving up delicious American-Chinese cuisine since the first Panda Express opened at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California, in 1983. Over the years, the brand has become synonymous with iconic dishes like Orange Chicken and Chow Mein, known for their quality and flavor.
Panda Express is driven by a mission to deliver exceptional Asian dining experiences while building an organization where people are inspired to better their lives. This commitment to both guests and team members has been at the core of Panda Express’s success for over four decades.
