Midland Provisions kicked off its Grand Opening Weekend on Friday, October 18, 2024, with a Chamber-hosted ribbon cutting ceremony! Owned by longtime local businessman Robert Toney, Midland Provisions is a new addition to the community, sharing unique and locally-sourced foods and beverages with the people of Midland.
Robert Toney, who has been a successful business owner since 1981 with Toney's Carpet Inc., decided to make a new investment right next door. Leaving the concept of the business up to his sons, Michael and Bryan, and their wives, Megan and Leigh, Robert encouraged them to follow their passion. Together, they envisioned Midland Provisions as a specialty food store, focusing on products they love and believe the community will enjoy.
Midland Provisions is dedicated to bringing unique, high-quality products to the area, carefully curating a variety of locally-sourced items. Visitors can explore a selection of fresh seafood, produce, meats, cheeses, jams, jellies, snacks, and beverages that includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The store is designed to cater to those looking for one-of-a-kind flavors, creating an enjoyable shopping experience that highlights local and regional brands.
As they celebrate this milestone, the Toney family looks forward to engaging with the community and attending networking events through the Chamber.
