We joined new Chamber member, Her Candle Bar, for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their store in Concord!
Launched on December 8, 2023 by Bria and David Smith, Her Candle Bar (DBA "Her Authentic Self") is a candle maker and custom apparel designer with a focus on self care being a lifestyle and to live well. They were motivated to start the business as Bria was focusing on her self care and wanted to share her craft and scents with the world.
As they worked on starting their company, they faced challenges with financing and business operations. This led to them participating in local programs such as the Cabarrus Center's Retail Lab, which assisted their business tremendously. Now as new members of The Chamber, they hope to make connections that enhance their lives, not just business and money, but learning and growing too! They hope to build great relationships that lead to coffee here and there, outings and connections that expand even outside of business.
Her Candle Bar offers DIY candle making, retail candles, and pajamas. Customers can expect to have a relaxing interactive retail experience and a breath of beautifully scented fresh air.
