Empowered Health Solutions celebrated its first-year anniversary and the grand opening of its new location with a Chamber ribbon cutting! This milestone marks a significant achievement for the practice, led by its visionary founder and owner, Kia Colleton-Livingston.
Dr. Kia Livingston, a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Laboratory Scientist with over 20 years of experience, founded Empowered Health Solutions out of a deep-seated passion for delivering high-quality, safe healthcare. Her impressive academic background includes degrees from Winston-Salem State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
“I started Empowered Health Solutions out of a deep-seated passion for delivering high-quality, safe healthcare. As healthcare evolved, I witnessed increasing time constraints and limitations on treatment options, which often resulted in merely managing symptoms and prescribing medications which led to burnout!”, said Dr. Livingston.
“My vision for Empowered Health Solutions is to change this narrative by providing personalized care that addresses the root causes of common chronic conditions. I believe in combining traditional medicine with holistic approaches, allowing me to spend more meaningful time with patients and helping them achieve true wellness.”

Specializing in weight loss and nutritional counseling, gut health restoration, and thyroid optimization, they also provide mobile laboratory services for diagnostic testing.
