It was such an honor to join Ellis Jewelers for a ribbon cutting to celebrate their 70th anniversary!
Ellis Jewelers was founded in July 1953 by Ellis Levinson, who grew up working in his father's jewelry store in Gastonia before deciding to open a store of his own in Concord. Today, the store is owned by his son, Dan Levinson, who grew up working at Ellis Jewelers as a young child. Just like his father, Dan loves working in the happiness business and continues to grow the business his father started 70 years ago.
Ellis Jewelers is a full-service jewelry store with an emphasis on engagement rings, custom designed jewelry, jewelry repairs, gold buying, and appraisal services. Their mission is to be a part of, and always strive to hug and care for, the community they serve while helping their clients mark special moments in their lives.
What makes Ellis Jewelers different from other jewelry stores is the experience of working with a business owner who treats his guests the same way whether they are spending $1 or $10,000. Ellis Jewelers is a business that listens to its guests, asks questions, and then listens some more. They celebrate their clients and enjoy having fun with them while they're at the store.
As for their membership with The Chamber, Dan says they "love the networking and getting a chance to meet other business leaders in Cabarrus County. Every time I talk to another business owner, I always learn something new from them. The sharing of knowledge amongst businesses is powerful! We also appreciate the way the Chamber advocates for business when we are faced with a challenge we need help with."
