He has his PE, and degrees in both engineering and history. Kate and Nick have been working together and serving the Cabarrus County community with quality engineering design for 12 years. Kate and Nick both have an entrepreneurial spirit, and when the time was right they launched their own venture together.
Daylight Engineering focuses on providing quality, efficient, and effective civil engineering design. They use an ethos of teamwork to partner with their clients, government staff, contractors, and other stakeholders to solve problems and develop their community. They provide land management civil engineering design services for a diverse range of projects including industrial, single family residential, multi-family, townhomes, commercial, and municipal.
Daylight Engineering works with everyone from professional developers to small business entrepreneurs looking to build new offices. They can also provide civil engineer support as the needs arise, including SCM inspections, rezoning, due diligence, and master planning.
Kate and Nick joined The Chamber at the beginning of 2024, and hope to continue to be relevant and active members of their community as their business grows.
