Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) held a ribbon cutting this month to celebrate joining the Chamber. The company recently completed an update to their Concord office and welcomed the community to drop in to see the changes and meet their team.
CVG is a leading manufacturing supplier of injection molding and reaction injection molding for the medium-and heavy-duty truck market, recreational vehicles, health and safety, and power sports. They came to Cabarrus County after acquiring Cabarrus Plastics in 2005 to offer additional components to the existing customer base. Originally founded in 1989 as Hidden Creek Industries, Inc., CVG has grown significantly over the last three decades through acquisition, focusing on the design, development and continuous improvement of their core products.
Officially taking on the name Commercial Vehicle Group in 2004, CVG prides themselves on being problem solvers and stand by their mission “We Find a Way” while meeting the needs of both employees and customers and giving back to the community.
Their goal when moving to Concord was to set a positive foundation for this community. As new Chamber members, CVG hopes to make new connections to become a source for local business to help this area continue to grow.
