The Chamber Congratulates the Graduates of Leadership Cabarrus, Class of 2025

The Chamber, Leading Business in Cabarrus congratulates the 37 graduates of Leadership Cabarrus, Class of 2025. Leadership Cabarrus, a signature program of The Chamber, provides a ten-month professional development experience for Chamber members to dive deeply into the opportunities and challenges in Cabarrus County through nine programmed days focusing on increasing their community knowledge and civic and community engagement.

“Leadership Cabarrus isn’t just a program; it’s a starting point,” said Kevin Klinglesmith, chair, Leadership Cabarrus Steering Committee. “It’s a shift in perspective and a foundation for growth that opens doors you didn’t know existed while introducing you to a network of people who challenge and support you. We are very proud of the graduates of this year’s class, and we look forward to what they do next.”

In addition to program days, members select a class legacy project that addresses a specific need in the community that can be worked on by combining the skills and interests of class members. This year’s class partnered with Cooperative Christian Ministry to provide hardscape and landscape elements to The Rebuilders Campus at Brown Mill, including a 200-foot retaining wall, decorative fencing and multiple plantings.

“The Rebuilders Campus at Brown Mill Commons will serve every city, town, and neighborhood in Cabarrus County and benefit every sector of our local economy,” said Ed Hosack, CCM’s Chief Executive Officer. “The Leadership Cabarrus Class of 2025 has demonstrated one more way to help create this campus and program that will impact lives for generations. The level of organization and enthusiasm of this group through design, planning, communication, and implementation brought professionalism to the project that accomplished the task with remarkable efficiency. I hope the success of the Chamber Leadership Class will inspire more groups like theirs to create community impact here in Cabarrus County.”
