One of the many things we’ve learned over the last two years is that workplace wellbeing is critical to the resilience of our businesses. By fostering a culture of wellness, you can improve the health of your employees, increase their productivity, and reduce healthcare costs. It is a win-win for both employers and employees.
Two of our members recently shared how they foster a culture of wellness within their businesses:
Beth W. Belk, PA’s team does a monthly fitness challenge. “We have a Smartbelle trophy that the monthly winner keeps in their office until next month,” says Beth Belk. “Every month has a theme for movement. February is Lunges for Love. November was Planksgiving, December was Merry Crunch-mas. We try to have fun with it!”

Fairway Custom Mortgage has healthy snacks and a corporate wellness program. “Our branch encourages standing desks and keeps healthy snacks in our break room (apples, bananas, etc instead of chips and candy). We also have a corporate wellness program that actually pays employees to participate! I used my wellness bucks to buy a Fitbit Versa last year.”
