All chamber members are welcome to participate in our Advocacy Committee meetings, which take place on the first Thursday of even months at 8:00 a.m. at the Cabarrus Center. Meetings are filled with up-to-date information from knowledgeable members and guest presenters.

Members of the Advocacy Committee prepare our annual document, which is presented to the The Chamber Board of Directors for approval. The document guides us as we examine issues and take action on matters important to our region. We believe that business and government working together responsibly creates the best economy.
Advocacy Positions are distributed to chamber members, elected and public officials. The committee makes recommendations on policy issues to our executive committee, which are then presented to the board of directors. The board approves resolutions in support of the recommendations.
