Your guide to voting in Cabarrus County

CONCORD, N.C., Nov. 2, 2017 – On Tuesday, November 7, Cabarrus County residents will have the opportunity to participate in municipal elections. Polling locations will open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Voter ID
It is very important for every voter to understand that ID is NOT required for early or Election Day voting.

Early voting
There’s still time to take advantage of short wait times during early, or one-stop, voting. Those not registered to vote can register and vote on the same day during early voting only. You can vote early at the Cabarrus Board of Elections Office (369 Church St. N, Concord).
Early voting times are:
o Friday, Nov 3
8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
o Saturday, November 4
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Additional options and information
Voters must return absentee ballots to the Board of Elections by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, or postmarked by Tuesday, November 7, and received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, November 10.
Election Day votes must be placed within your assigned precinct 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To find your polling location, visit https://vt.ncsbe.gov/PPLkup/.
